Review by: The Auditor

This is a selection of rum from Barrell Craft spirits. This is a blend of rums, 60% from Hampden and Worthy Park, 40% Barbados, Guyana, and Martinique. This blend was then married into a single cask that previously held Sercial Madeira.
Distillery: Blend
Bottler: Barrell Craft Spirits
Region: Jamaica, Guyana, Barbados, and Martinique
Still: Pot and Column
ABV: 65.25%. Cask strength.
Age: NAS
Cask type: Married in ex-Sercial Madiera caask
Price: $100.00
Color: Natural Color. Non-chill-filtered.
Nose: Faint Apple, a touch of acidity, Banana, Pineapple, Passionfruit, Cardamom
Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Apple, Vinegar, Banana, Passionfruit, Cardamom, slight olives, Brine
Finish: Medium length finish, Vinegar, Apple, Passionfruit, Olives, Brine
Conclusion: Fine, but a bit of unbalance prevents it from rising any higher. Nice fruit notes, the apple is a surprise for sure, but the mixture of vinegar and brine dominate them in a way that just brings a down a touch for me. It’s like the finish made this a bit jumbled.
