Review by: The Auditor

This rum comes from Cadenhead, an independent spirit bottler located in Scotland bottles this rum. The rum itself is a blend of Pot and Column still rums from Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, and Panama and bottled at 50% abv with no coloring added or filtering.
Distillery: Blend
Bottler: Cadenheads
Region: Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana, and Panama
Still: Pot and Column
ABV: 50%
Price: $50.00
Color: Natural Color. Non-chill-filtered.
Nose: Banana, faint tobacco leaf, Green Apple
Palate: Medium mouthfeel. Vanilla, faint tobacco Leaf, a bit of dark chocolate, espresso
Finish: Medium length finish, Vanilla, dark chocolate, espresso, black tea
Conclusion: A very good, no frills rum from Cadenhead. You get bits of the various distillates throughout though it would seem to me that the Panama does the bulk of the heavy lifting here. The strong coffee notes come in suggest the Guyana influence as well. Not much else to say really, just a solid workhorse aged rum.
