Review by: The Auditor

This bottle comes to us by way of the Chairman’s Master Select series from St. Lucia distillers located on St. Lucia. This single cask of rum was distilled in 2008 on the John Dore 2 Pot still, aged for 13 years in ex-bourbon, then bottled in 2022 with no additives. This cask was selected for Kirsch Import in Germany.

Nose: Pungent! Star Anise, slight Industrial, Raspberry, Blackberry, Waffle Cone, black pepper, vicks vapor Rub
Palate: Thick Oily Mouthfeel, Star Anise, Raspberry, Black Peppery, Waffle Cone, Industrial

Conclusion: No surprise a big winner from St. Lucia for me. This one is like having your ice cream and raspberry cough syrup at the same time. The jammy fruits and star anise play so well together. Chairman’s Master selects just don’t miss (unless they are those 19 year old ones, no thank you on those).
