Review by: The Auditor

Another country I have never had rum from before, this is a treat to get to try. Let’s get through the details of the cane juice rum and see how it tastes!
Distillery: Quang Nam
Bottler: Compagnie Des Indes
Region: Vietnam
Still: Column Still
ABV: 50%%
Age: Unaged
Price: €60.00
Color: Natural Color. Non-chill-filtered.
Nose: Vinegary, Brine, peppery, allspice, hint of pear, hay, Melon
Palate: Medium mouthfeel, lemon, pear, vegetal, pear, hay, melon
Finish: Medium length finish, brine, allspice, black pepper, vegetal
Conclusion: A very good rum from this distillery. It hits a lot of those beats you want in a classic unaged cane juice style rum. Bit of fruit, bit of spice, bit of that raw vegetal flavor. This would be a workhorse in cocktails and is plenty enjoyable neat on its own.
