This rum is a molasses based rum from Trinidad (TDL). It was aged for 15 years in ex-bourbon in Trinidad then sent to Europe for an additional 5 years of ageing. It was then bottled at cask strength with no additives. This was bottled for La Maison & Velier’s 6th anniversary.

Nose: Cherry Robitussin, Raspberry, Mint, Lime Juice, Nuttiness, Plum, motor oil
Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, Cherry Robitussin, Raspberry, Mint, Lime Juice, Vanilla, motor oil
Finish: Long length finish, menthol, Raspberry, Mint, Chocolate, Cinnamon, Allspice
Conclusion:
Another single cask from TDL, another great bottling. Cherry cough syrup, mint, limejuice, a bit of motor oil and vanilla. These TDL single casks have really improved my opinion of the distillery. We know they can make fantastic stuff that is packed full of flavor. A good choice for a celebration bottling.
