Longueteau Rhum Blanc 62

Review #1069; Rum Review #397

Here we have an agricole rhum from the Longueteau distillery on Guadeloupe. This rhum is made from fresh pressed cane juice that is distilled on a column still then bottled at a high proof with no additives.

Distillery:  Longueteau

Bottler:  Longueteau

Region: Guadeloupe

Still: Column

ABV: 62%

Nose: Lemon Peel, Brine, Bell Pepper, Olive Oil, Mienrality, honeysuckle

Palate:    Medium oily mouthfeel, Lemongrass, Brine, Bell Pepper, honeysuckle, minerality, olives

Finish: : Medium length finish, minerality, brine, lemongrass, honeysuckle, olives, cumin

Conclusion: Packed with flavor, this is a real winner. Vegetal, spices, a bit of sweetness, brine, this really hits all those notes I want in a cane juice rhum. Great neat, likely great in a ti punch as well, this is one that given the price should always be on your bar. What a winner.
