Review #1071; Rum Review #399

This rum comes from Distillerie Longueteau located on the island of Guadeloupe. This is part of their parcel series where the cane for this rhum all came from Plot 12. This rhum was made from fresh pressed cane juice from Canne Rogue cane and bottled with no additives.
Distillery: Longueteau
Bottler: Longueteau
Region: Guadeloupe
Still: Column
ABV: 55%
Nose: Olivey, minerality, peppery, slightly nutty, Vanilla, Floral
Palate: Medium mouthfeel, minerality, nutty, vanilla, earthy
Finish: : Medium length finish, slightly vegetal, nutty, earthy, vanilla
Conclusion: A very good Rhum Agricole offering. Good flavor, the nuttiness is a nice addition, but it’s missing a bit of something to take it to that next level for me.
