Review #1109; Rum #435
This is a rum that was produced at the Bologne distillery on Guadeloupe. Distilled from fresh pressed sugar cane juice, this juice was distilled on a column still and bottled at high proof with no additives. The cane grown for this rum was black cane variety and only 3000 bottles were produced in 2019.
Distillery: Bologne
Bottler:Bologne

ABV: 60%
Nose: Lemongrass, slight apple, vanilla, minerality
Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, Lemongrass, Vanilla, Apple, Minerality, allspice

Conclusion: A very good rum. It hits those classic notes I want in a Guadeloupe agricole. Heavy on the lemon, minerality, apple and pear. Very good neat and Im sure it is killer in a ti’punch.
