Review by: The Auditor

Review #1142; Scotch #216

I had this blind then was revealed the notes so keep that in mind.

Here we have a bottling of Bunnahabhain, done for Feis Ile in 2018. This single malt aged for 10 years in ex-oloroso casks before being bottled at cask strength with no additives in 2018.

Distillery: Bunnahabhain

Bottler: Bunnahabhain

Region: Islay Scotland

Still: Pot Still

Cask: Ex-Oloroso

ABV: 59.5%

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Candied Bacon, Dr. Pepper, Dirty Peat, Plums, Figs

Conclusion: This is a dirty Sherry bomb in all the best ways. Great flavor, not very nuanced but it smacks you in the face with its flavors
