This is a rum from J. Gow, a rum distillery in Scotland located on Ornkey. This rum was fermented for 5-14 days, distilled, then aged for 3 years in new charred oak and ex-bourbon casks for 3 years before being bottled with no sugar or coloring.

Nose: Caramel, Vanilla, touch of brine, peppery

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Caramel, Vanilla, Brine, Peppery

Finish:  Short finish, caramel, vanilla, peppery


Conclusion: Overall, pretty fine for the 3 year age and 43% proof. Good classic aged rum flavors, peppery.
