This is a bottling of rum done by That Boutique-y Rum Company via Trinidad Distillery Limited. This rum was distilled from molasses on a multi-column still, aged for 17 years, then bottled at cask strength. According to TBRC this is of the FPH marque which comes from the Fernandes marks and is a heavy rum marque

Nose: Raspberry, touch of leather, dark chocolate, mango

Palate:   Thick oily mouthfeel, Raspberry, Cherry, Mango, Star Anise, Dark Chocolate, Touch of Leather, Cinnamon, Nutmeg

Finish:  Long finish, Raspberry, Mango, Star Anise, Nutmeg, Leather, Dark Chocolate, Allspice


Conclusion: An excellent rum, this is what I like in rums from TDL. Bold, fruity, a touch of spice, and that strong star anise note running throughout. This one will hang with you for a long time.
