This is a bottling of rum bottled by Chorlton Whisky. This molasses rum was distilled at Trinidad Distillery Limited on a column still, aged for 13 years, and bottled at cask strength with no additives.

Nose:  Raspberry, Vanilla, Mango, Rubber

Palate:  Thin mouthfeel, Vanilla, Raspberry, Allspice, Rubber, Pencil Shavings

Finish:  Medium length finish, Vanilla, Raspberry, Allspice, Pencil Shavings


Conclusion: Its fine. Much better bottlings of TDL out there, this one just comes in at ok.

  • 70-74: Meh. It’s definitely drinkable, but it can do better.
  • 60-69: Not so good. I might not turn down a glass if I needed a drink.
  • 50-59: Save it for mixing.
  • 0-49: Blech.
