This bottling of rum comes from Rum Artesanal, an independent rum bottler located in Germany. This molasses rum comes from Guadeloupe from the Bellevue distillery and was distilled on a column still and aged for 25 years before being bottled at cask strength with no additives.

Nose:  Raspberry, Star Anise, Black Pepper, Doctor Pepper, Allspice

Palate:  Medium oily mouthfeel, Raspberry, Star Anise, Dr. Pepper, Allspice, Vanilla, touch of Char, Grapefruit

Finish:  Medium length finish, Star Anise, Dr. Pepper, Allspice, Vanilla, Black tea


Conclusion: A great rum, I’ve not had many of these molasses Bellevue’s but this one is delicious and enjoyable to drink.
