Review by: The Auditor

Review #1226; Rum #540

Here we have a rhum from La Favorite distillery on Martinique. This rhum was distilled from cane juice in 2021 and rested in stainless steel for 7 months before being bottled with no additives.

Distillery: La Favorite

Bottler: La Favorite

Region: Martinique

Still: Column

ABV: 53%

Nose: Lemongrass, Minerality, Apple, Orange Peel, Earthy, minty

Palate:  Medium mouthfeel, Lemongrass, Apple, Minerality, Orange Peel, Earthy, touch of chalk

Finish:  Medium length finish, Lemongrass, dark chocolate, Orange Peel, Minerality, chalk, Earthy

Conclusion: A great example of Rhum Agricole, this just hits that profile of delicious unaged cane juice rums.
