Here we have a bottle of rum from Naga distillery located in Indonesia. This rum was distilled form molasses on a column still and aged for 11 years in Indonesia in ex-bourbon casks before being bottled at cask strength with no additives.

Nose: Vanilla, Orange Peel, Chocolate, Black Pepper, Toasted Coconut

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, toasted coconut, Chocolate, Orange Peel, Chocolate

Finish:  Medium length finish, Toasted Coconut, Dark Chocolate, Orange Peel, Black Pepper,Cinnamon


Conclusion: This is just a well crafted and delicious rum. Enjoyable flavors, well balance, and drinks below its proof. One of a few rums I’ve had from Indonesia and they’ve been producing some pretty good rum.
