Ron Aldea Single Estate Eco Zafra

Review by: The Auditor

Review #1250; Rum #558

This rum comes from Aldea, a distillery that grows their own sugar cane and distills the rum from fresh pressed juice. This Ron was distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2022.

Distillery: Aldea

Bottler: Aldea

Region: Canary Islands

Still: Column

ABV: 53%

Nose: Minerality, Brine, Lemon Peel, Grapefruit

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Brine, Lemon Pith, Minerality, Earthy, Grapefruit

Finish: Medium length finish, Minerality, Lemon Pith, Earthy, Grapefruit

Conclusion: This is some pretty good rum. It’s a bit on the simple side in terms of flavor but is good neat and would be ideal in a ti punch. For the affordable price I see this for sale online, it’s a darn good cane juice rum.
