Here we have a bottling from Roaming Roads Spirits. Roaming Roads Spirits is a new independent bottler founded by Mike Gilmore, owner of Country Lane Liquor in Wyoming. . Mike is bringing his years of experience selling and tasting spirits to found Roaming Road, an independent bottler that will bottle single cask Rums, Cognacs, Armagnacs, and who knows what else going forward.

This is a molasses rum that was distilled on a pot still and aged for 16 years in an ex-bourbon cask before being bottled at cask strength with no additives.

Nose: Grapefruit, Apple, Slight Vanilla, Coriander

Palate: Medium Oily mouthfeel, Grapefruit, Minerality, Vanilla, Black Pepper, Apple

Finish: Long finish, Black pepper, Grapefruit, Minerality, Vanilla, Apple


Conclusion: This is a delicious rum. Like a lot of the Australian rums I’ve had, I assume this is from Beenleigh and it’s a great offering. A real winner from Roaming Road Spirits
