Tokyo Nights Japanese Rum

Review by: The Auditor

Review #1264; Rum #569

This is a rum that was distilled from molasses made from locally grown sugarcane on the island of Okinawa. This rum was distilled on a copper pot still and bottled with no additives.

Distillery: Distillery on Okinawa

Bottler: N/A

Region: Okinawa, Japan

Still: Pot

ABV: 40%

Nose: A bit of olives, Brine, touch of vanilla, earthy

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Olives, Vanilla, Earthy

Finish: Short finish, Salinity, Vanilla, Earthy

Conclusion: This is a fine rum. Nice salinity and a touch of sweetness. I wish the finish was a bit longer and it was a bit more complex, but still a good rum overall

Final Score: 82
