Here we have a bottle of rum from Hampden Estate. This is rum made from molasses and distilled on those famous pot stills. This is a blend of various marques at various ages which I laid out below and bottled at cask strength at a yearly release.

Nose:Pungent, Over-Ripe Banana, Cement Glue, Salted Lemon, Soy Sauce, Buttered Popcorn
Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, Cement Glue, Salted Lemon, Soy Sauce, Buttered Popcorn, Passionfruit, Toasted Caramel
Finish: Medium length finish, Cement Blue, Salted Lemon, Soy Sauce, Buttered Popcorn
Conclusion: Great. This is just a classic expression of Hampden Rum. A bit of glue, tropical fruits, spices, and some intense weird savory notes. All in all, another great release.

- 60-69: Not so good. I might not turn down a glass if I needed a drink.
- 50-59: Save it for mixing.
- 0-49: Blech.
