Review #1400; Rum #699
This is a bottling of rum from independent bottlers The Whisky Jury. This rum was distilled at the Hampden distillery in the Trelawny Parish of Jamaica from molasses in 2009. It aged for 15 years in a cask before being bottled at cask strength with no coloring or chill filtration. This is the DOK marque, the highest ester marque produced at Hampden coming in at 1500-1600 gr/HLpaa.

What can I say, I love me the highest ester stuff and this is a darn good release. Tropical fruits, BBQ Sauce, a bit of cola, industrial solvents, vanilla, Vinegar. A wild and delicious ride. The Whisky Jury has had some great rums for me as they seem to know how to pick them.
