Review #1428; Rum #727
This is a single cask of rum from independent bottler Hamilton. This is from Diamond distillery in Guyana. Molasses was distilled on the wooden Enmore still, then aged in Eurpe till being bottled at cask strength with no additives.
Distillery: Diamond
Bottler: Hamilton
Region: Guyana
Still: Wooden Column
ABV: 66.8%
Nose: Vanilla, Pencil Shavings, Black Pepper, Apple
Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Apple, Pencil Shavings, Black Pepper, Vanilla
Finish: Pencil Eraser, Apple, Black Pepper, Vanilla
It has some decent flavor at the start of it, but by the end, the pencil shavings dominate everything to the point of being very unenjoyable for me.
Final Score: 72
