Bedford Park Reunion 5 Year (2019) HERR

Review by: The Auditor

Review #1435; Rum #734

This rum comes from Independent bottler Bedford Park, who has quickly put together quite a reputation for bottling rum. This rum comes from the Savanna distillery and is of the High Ester Reunion Rum marque. It aged for 5 years in ex-bourbon in Europe before being bottled at cask strength with no additives.

Yeah this is a great rum. The HERR marque rum in here won the battle against the oak and beat it into submission. It’s still pungent and vibrant, though certainly tamed down by the ageing. It doesn’t reach as high as some of the other aged HERR’s for me, but considering how few that is, this will likely be the most accessible and affordable aged HERR released in some time.

Final Score: 88
