Dràm Mòr T.D.L Single Cask Rum 2009  13 Year

Review by: The Auditor

Review #1194; Rum #508

Here we have a single cask of rum bottled by Dram Mor, a UK based independent bottler. This rum was distilled from molasses on a column still, aged for 13 years in a mix of tropical and continental ageing, and bottled with no additives.

Distillery: Trinidad Distillers Limited

Bottler: Dram Mor

Region: Trinidad

Still: Column

Cask: Ex-Bourbon

ABV: 58%

Nose: Raspberry, Star Anise, Spearmint, Vanilla

Palate:  Medium mouthfeel, Raspberry, Star Anise, Vanilla, Black pepper, blackberry

Finish: Medium length finish, Star Anise, vanilla, Raspberry, Mint

Conclusion: This is a great rum. It doesn’t rise to the greatness of other TDL rums, but it’s a pretty great expression with loads of that typical raspberry and star anise.

Final Score: 88
