Review #1214; Rum #528
Here we have a bottling of rum from independent bottler Decadent Drinks, which is a brand from Whiskey Sponge. This is a bottling of rum from Barbados that was distilled in 2000, aged for 22 years mostly in Europe if I had to guess, and bottled at cask strength with no additives.
Distillery: Unknown
Bottler: Decadent Drinks / Sponge
Region: Barbados
ABV: 47.6%
Nose: Green Apple, Coconut, Mango, Allspice, Black Pepper, Graham Cracker, toasted nuts
Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Green apple, Toasted Coconut, Mango, Allspice, Black Pepper, Graham Cracker, toasted nuts
Finish: Medium length finish, Mango, Apple, Toasted Coconut, Vanilla, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Graham Cracker
Conclusion: This is a wonderfully fruity and delicious rum from Barbados. Its bright and full of flavor, with flavors that really complement each other. I would venture to guess this is from Foursquare but it is a really off-profile Foursquare if it happens to be from that distillery.
