Doorly’s 12 is a bottling of rum from Foursquare located on the island of Barbados. It is a blend of pot and column distillated that aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon casks at origin, and the blend contains rum aged for 12 years in ex-Madeira casks, all at origin in Barbados. It is then bottled with no additives.

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Raspberry Compote, Toasted Coconut, Vanilla, Black Pepper, Dark Chocolate

Finish: Medium Length Finishh, Raspberry Compote, Vanilla, Black Pepper, Toasted Coconut, Dark Chocolate

Dang, this is really hitting the spot tonight. Packed full of flavor, a bit berry, vanilla. It’s got a luscious mouthfeel and long finish especially given the 43% proof. Just a real winner here from Foursquare.

  • 90-94: Sublime, a personal favorite in its category.
  • 85-89: Excellent, a standout dram.

  • 70-74: Meh. It’s definitely drinkable, but it can do better.
  • 60-69: Not so good. I might not turn down a glass if I needed a drink.
  • 50-59: Save it for mixing.
