Bedford Park New Yarmouth 15 Year 2009

Review #1481; Rum #780

This sample was provided to me by a producer, distributor, or some other industry source free-of-charge. No compensation, outside of the sample, was received and there were no strings attached.

Here we have a bottle of rum from Bedford Park the independent bottler. This rum was distilled in Jamaica at the New Yarmouth distillery. It aged for 3  years in Jamaica in an ex-bourbon cask before going to Europe to aged in a once used bourbon cask before being bottled at cask strength with no additives for Bedford Park in 2025. This rum is the New  Yarmouth HM marque which is 500-700 gr/hlAA

An excellent offering from New Yarmouth. This one is tropical fruits, acidic, a touch of solvent and sharpie, and some nice vanilla and chai to round it out. For a distillery you don’t see much of, the stuff I have tried is usually pretty darn good.
