Cheramie Keife and Co Select
Review #1506; Rum #805
Here we have a bottling of rum from New Orleans, Louisiana distillery Porchjam, bottling under the Cheramie brand. This rum is made from fresh pressed Louisiana cane juice and has been aged in ex-bourbon casks at origin and selected for Keife and Co, a liquor store in New Orleans. This has been bottled with no additives.

Another great bottling from Cheramie and showing a different side here. This is a classic aged cane juice rum. Its nice combination of the base distillate with some fruit popping in and driving the backbone of this. The oak brings a nice touch of nuttiness, sandalwood, and some spice to make a great and enjoyable bottling of cane juice rum. Cheramie continues to make some of the best US rum and I can only hope to get more folks to try it and buy it.
