Review #1379; Rum #682

This is a bottle of rum that is distilled from molasses as a pot and column blend pre-cask at the Foursquare distillery on Barbados. This rum is aged for at least 5 years, likely in ex-bourbon, and bottled with no additives.

Distillery: Foursquare

Bottler: Foursquare

Region: Barbados

Still: Pot & Column Blend

ABV: 43%

Nose: Vanilla, Toffee, Coconut, Black Pepper

Palate: Light mouthfeel, Vanilla, Toffee, Coconut, Black Pepper, Nutmeg

Finish:  Medium length Finish, Vanilla, Nutmeg, Black Pepper, Toasted Coconut

Conclusion: This is very good. Im honestly shocked that something this cheap can taste so good. This has that classic Foursquare profile and is just pleasant to sip on. I can see why folks would want to keep this around it punches well above its weight.
