Sampan is rum that comes from the Indochine distillery located in Vietnam. This rum was made from fresh pressed sugar cane that has been crown without pesticides. The cane is crushed and distilled on a French column still after fermenting for 3-4 days. The rum then rests in steel tanks for 8-12 months. This has been bottled with no additives and is grown from yellow cane.

A very good cane juice rum from Vietnam. It hits those brine and lemongrass notes you want. It doesn’t come across as thin and watery at 43% and it has a nice bite of minerality throughout that feels really fresh.
